First time to stay here. We were in the new section where they are selling the lots. Huge concrete pads with plenty of parking. Some of the sites have sold and are well landscaped. Ours was still for sale and was scheduled for landscaping after we left. Owner is a nice guy with big plans for this campground. New pool and hot tub were nice. Best of all for us they had a LARGE grass dog yard where we could play with the dogs. Easy in and easy out for big rigs and toads. All sites in the new area are head in and back out but roads are wide so no problems. Will stay here again. No road noise. Internet was reliable but a bit slow. There were warnings about not trying to upload/download big files due to limited bandwidth.

We camp here about 4 times per year as a first/last night on our trip. We've reviewed Monument several times. Many long-term residents working in the energy business. Staff was helpful. Easy in easy out. Wide level gravel sites. We had a shear bolt break on one of our slides. Called the guy that advertises on their check in sheet and he got us back on the road the next morning with only a short delay. Strong Internet signal. Don't like paying for it but oh well. No major complaints.

We have spent about two weeks a year here using Blanding as a base camp for hiking. Nothing has changed except they have added a bunch of sites to accommodate the prolific rental rigs driven by Europeans doing the Great Circle. 50 amp sites down low are huge. Have beautiful sunset views. Everything is gravel, level and well graded. Very wide roads with easy turns even for the biggest rigs and toads. Owners are very accommodating and friendly to everyone. Not much going on in Blanding as it is a very traditional Mormon town. Grocery is close. Remember that Blanding has no liquor stores or restaurant bar service. BYOB.

We have stayed here several times over the last few years. We stayed here for two weeks this year using it as a base for hiking and ATVing. Has resident RV repair guy. Didn't use him. Owner/staff is friendly and helpful. Many seasonal residents who stay all summer or come up from Denver/Colorado Springs area on weekends. Many renters plant flower to spruce up their site. Variety of site types. Most have shade and grass. New area is mostly gravel, but they are working on it. Our daily rate reflects staying in a new one-of-a-kind site. My steps landed within one inch of a redwood deck that had a large cottonwood tree. Deck had comfortable, new plastic wicker chairs, glass top table and settee. Also had a good and hot gas grill. Extra cost was worth the comfort. Put out the hummingbird feeder and had a great place to relax after a day of hiking. Free Wi-Fi worked great. Only had a few hours of trouble early one morning when their router obviously needed rebooting.

Absolutely beautiful campground. Stayed on loop B with nice view of the lake. Concrete pad was level. If you have two rigs with slides on the utility side things are close. On the door side there is a fire pit and picnic table. One of the cleanest campgrounds we've ever stayed at. Stayed here 5 days using it as a base camp for hiking. Wi-Fi was a bit flaky one day. Plenty of space to run the dogs in the closed loops. Employees of ARAMARK, the concessionaire, were unable to answer simple questions about the area. Don't know if it was the usual Navajo attitude of easier to say, "don't know" rather than answer a question or if it was a lack of knowledge base. Suspect the former. Took an all day tour of Lake Powell to Rainbow Bridge. $150 price was out of line considering lunch was a white bun with lunch meat and cheese. No veggies. Boat was tired. Captain knew his stuff. Great campground for the off season. Wouldn't come near it during high season. The place must be a zoo. Will be back.

Used this campground as first day out and last day out on this trip. Was surprised that there were vacancies in overnight spaces on both nights. Most of park is long term residents working in the energy boom. Helpful staff, easy in and out. Wifi worked fine. Nothing fancy but works for us. Sites are gravel and level. Don't have to disconnect toad. If I was staying for extended period of time, we would stay across the street in the state park.

We stay here about two weeks a year using Blanding as a base camp for hiking. Son in law has taken over a lot of responsibility for owners Duke and Rose. They are expanding the campground including tent sites. Most people use it as a one night stay. Easy in and out. Level gravel sites. WIFI was a bit flakey one day during our stay. Sites near highway are noisy. Sites down low especially the huge pull throughs have awesome views. Nice folks who run a clean family business. Blanding is nothing to get excited about. If you are thirsty and in need of a libation there isn't any in town! Traditional quiet Mormon town where even Subway closes on Sunday. And whatever you do, don't speed through town. San Juan Sherrif patrols the highway closely.

Stayed here many times. Use it to make a stop at the vineyards for some Colorado wine or great fruit. Monument is like an old pair of shoes feels the same every time you stop. Close quarters, friendly staff, level sites, lots of year round residents due to energy boom, VERY fast Wi-Fi, easy in and out, nothing to get excited about...

We've been here dozen or more times. We use Blanding as a base camp for hiking Cedar Mesa and surrounding area several weeks a year. The huge 50 amp sites on back row are our favorites! It is also easy in and easy out for one night stays. Wi-fi works great this time after some previous issues. Be sure to bring your own food and "beverage" as Blanding is "dry" and doesn't have any good places to eat.

This is one of the better KOAs we have stayed at. It is clean and well managed. Big rig sites are up front and fairly level. Wide enough for biggest rigs without banging slides. But number of class A sites is limited. You may have to unhitch toad going in or out depending on you skills. There are some beautiful sites in the upper portion of the campground for fivers, TT and tents. They have lots of natural vegetation and nice views. Wifi was free and worked great. Didn't use showers/bathrooms or laundramat. Assume that they were clean as rest of campground. There is no AT&T cell service. Had to drive up the road a few miles to keep up with messages at home and work. What makes this KOA special is the owners. We are hikers and spent eight nights there using it as a base for hiking the canyons and slots in Escalante National Monument. Co-owner Marsha is a local guide and took extensive time to share where to go to see her favorite places. If you aren't a hiker she can tell you where to go to get the most bang for your buck from the car. We will stay with them again 'cause we've got several more weeks of hiking to do in the area. If you don't want to "enjoy" the crowds in Bryce NP be sure to visit Red Canyon in Dixie National Forest or Escalante National Monument. On many hikes we saw less than a handful of hikers.

Have passed by this campground scores of times. This trip is worked out to stay here first night out after a late start. Doesn't take reservations or honor any discounts. Beautiful setting if it were not for the constant roar of I-70. Large sites big rig friendly. Didn't have to drop toad. Gravel/dirt roads. Site was fairly level. Says they are pet friendly but many warnings of dire consequences for breaking rules in brochure. Small fenced area for taking care of business. Warns you not to let dogs pee on bushes around campground. One wonders if you are supposed to diaper them on the way to pen. Rules, rules rules stated in mostly negative terms. Wi-Fi was expensive and very slow. Very pricey for site without dump. I'll keep driving next time. Way over priced.

We stayed here for three nights while looking at real estate for retirement relocation. Very nice family owned and family oriented campground. Many seasonal residents who maintain their plots including green grass. Some spaces are a bit tight for big rigs. They provided expert guided assistance on some tight turns. When my site wouldn't accommodate my rig, they gladly moved me so slides and awning would open. They stagger you in so that you have additional room. Nice long pull through sites, some back in sites and nice isolated tent camp sites. Free Wi-Fi that works very well. Would stay here again.

We have stayed here twice a year for several years, usually October and either late March or early April. We use it as a base camp for hiking the Anasazi ruins and desert canyons. It is a mom and pop operation owned by Duke and Rose; however their daughter and son-in-law actually operate it now. It is mostly used by single nighters stopping on the way to somewhere else. The sites near the road are noisy but the big 50 amp pull through sites at the bottom have an awesome sunset views. Very open with nice level sites. Laid back friendly operation. Very clean and well run. No long term residents with kids, dogs, clutter, etc. Not much to do in Blanding since it is a very conservative Mormon town. Edge of Cedars Museum is a must see.

Tiger Run is like a Las Vegas hooker. Great to look at but over priced and doesn't deliver. Fourth time to stay there. WiFi has never worked unless you take a hike to club house which is tired and need of renovation. Each time they tell me they are working on the WiFi. Staff is ambivalent at best. Couldn't give directions to bike path which is across the street. Trash is a hike. Nice setting if you like concrete and landscaping but no place else to "camp" in Breck. Only stay there when I'm too tired to make the final push home.

We have stayed here numerous times usually in October or April. Owners are wonderful and accommodating. Beautiful setting. Owner bakes great muffins. Son has a repair shop adjacent to campground. Saved our vacation once when we blew a radiator. Wife loves the gift shop. Has quality resort wear, tee shirts and gifts at good prices. Located in Torrey which is a good bit higher than the National Park. Colder in spring and winter, cooler in summer.

First time here. Spent four days using it as a base for hiking. Owned/operated by a retired couple. He always wanted to own a KOA. Friendly folks. Free gourmet coffee and popcorn. But is is Green River. Not pretty to look at. Good place to stop overnight or for a base. Reliable WiFi which is important if still working.

Have camped here several times a year for about five years. Use it as a first night out or last night out. Have noticed this year that with the growing gas drilling economy about half of campground is long-term residents. But they are at the back of the campground. Clean, level, easy in/out.

Stayed here for five nights using it as a base camp for hiking and mountain biking. Have stayed here several times before. For the second year in a row they made a mess of my reservations but figured out how to make things work. This is a busy campground. Lots of ATVs etc. coming and going. WiFi doesn't have enough bandwidth for user base and is not stable. Not a pretty place to camp but good location.
